I’m a huge fan of the game, but however I believe Dickie can make the game feel more real, cuz imagine if this game was on Xbox, PS5,and Pc this game wold be a almost as big as gta possibly 🔥🔥🔥👍🏾

I played this maybe when I was 11 or 10 but I loved the game so much I would play it when I’m bored and I still play it.

This is back when the game logic made sense and the developer clearly had a passion for development. It’s sad to see how far gone he’s become now and how he’s destroying classics like this. Hopefully Matt can look back at these classics and read the reviews of his recent games and finds that spark he once had. If all the recent games he’s made seem unreasonably frustrating and awful, I’d encourage you to check out this classic because his recent terrible work isn’t indicative of all his capability. Plus this is before he got greedy, you can still buy this game.

It’s not a bad game kind of boring he has not updating anymore if you did, or Winterfest winter update it would be cool, but he has not updated no more. I think he has quit for ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever never never never never never never never never never if he makes any more contact I will be playing, but for now, this would be reading two out of five psych three out of five.

By far one of the best prison sims ever. Maybe the only one this good, have it on mobile and steam and both are super fun!

I would like to see this game be played with a controller

It’s a very good game, although it’s annoying when I get beat up up it’s really fun if you escape or something like that.

I absolutely love the game I love the creator and the rest but with this one it’s disappointing I can’t choose my own character. Mostly how I want to look and what gender I want to be.

The gang situation makes no sense. It says on the wiki if you refuse too many people you can be taken out of then gang but then it says if you add people who don’t have the right requirements you can be kicked out. On 2d u can’t see anyone’s stats so it’s kinda unfair to be taken out of a gang everytime you accept someone or if you don’t accept someone u can be taken out of your reputation will continue to go down the then you won’t have enough reputation to be in the gang. Its happened everytime im in a gang it’s like it’s unavoidable and there’s no way to stay in a gang. Hopefully this gets fixed because its really annoying. My other complaint is task. I’m so hard to do some task because the items aren’t there. I’ve searched the whole entire prison and even escaped and seat had outside. I think items just need to spawn more.

I used to love this game but ever since the character creator was removed and now you’re stuck with only a few options, I’ve grown tired of it and no longer have as much fun with it as I used too, which is sad cause I used to really love it.

I am a big fan of Mdickie games. I love the unique design of games. It’s like playing gta games. We can do whatever we want and complete missions and interact with Npcs

You have fun time when your not getting jumped by police officer and 4 other dudes who have no reason for being there and oh yeah this game will allow cops to shoot you with no consequences or repercussions other than that its fun

You guys should allow the backbone to function on all the hard times game this game brings back so many memories I missed playing this game back when I was in grade school

Please add gore effects similar to back wars and wrecked!!!!i feel this game would feel different with more gore effects to fit the prison simulator other than that the game is perfect the way it is

This game series is amazing. I've played every game in the list : hard times, school days, wrestling, pop scene, the zombies and superhero ones... Each is awesome in its own way, it may look simple but it's actually quite entertaining and you can replay so many times. There's also something for everyone. And the cherry on top is most of the games are free, you get a quality simulation for no money which is very convenient especially for children who don't have acess to a debit card like i was. I even played the Mdickie games on Pc. Thank You so much for making my childhood and for developing such awesome games.

Hello, Just one piece of advice I have is, that I feel like the development crew of Hard time should add updates to this game, even if it’s once a year. These updates should specifically include new voice lines for the non playable characters. The Same voice lines again and again can be repetitive. I feel like this game is Great. Im 17 years old, and this is a game I loved in my childhood and that I just came back to recently. I just hope you guys can take my suggestion, because although this is an old game and you guys may not do this, I feel like new voice lines for different situations would really make the game more fresh, unpredictable, slightly more funny, and surprising. And this would make the game better. Good day to you all.

I was so close to building a fort and sleeping there forever but this NPC decided to hit me with a snooker cue and I was so close to day 61 and then I died because of the NPC

Hi MDickie, if you’re reading this, I have some things to tell you. Hard time is a pretty good game. It’s fighting mechanics are quite polished and well-done. It can be a very lovable wild game of at times. However, I have a few suggestions. 1: Wardens should be able to arrest prisoners and civilians outside who break the law. Being a police officer in this game is like being a citizen who can leave and enter the prison whenever they want. It’s pretty much kinda whatever. It would be cool if being a warden in this game actually felt like being a warden, and not just a person who stands around the prison and doesn’t do much. 2: More dialogue options. It would be cool if you could walk up to prisoners and talk to them, like in your latest games. Obviously you would use the taunt button and walk towards them to try to initiate conversation if you do update Hard Time and add this cool but little feature inside within the game. Sometimes the NPCs repeat things and it can get pretty tiring. Giving them more unique and distinct dialogue would be a great choice. It would also be cool if you could edit character’s dialogue for certain scenarios, rather then all of the characters just having the same old dialogue when put in certain scenes. 3: More places outside the prison. It would be cool if the world outside of the prison grounds was a lot bigger and more vast. I also think it would be pretty cool to add robberies and more mission to the game. 4: Gangs should have more of a role. When you join a gang in this game, you befriend all the members and cannot break the rules. But I feel that being in a gang in this game is not special. I feel that if you added much more dialogue and suspense between gang members and your character would make the game feel more like a wild and fun prison game. It would also be cool if rival gangs in the game actually hated each other like two armies. 5: More fun direction. This one is a small one, but you should be able to point your characters gun in any direction, like you can do in the newer games. It would be a small yet less annoying than the old, cool feature. These are just suggestions, don’t feel pressure. I like Hard Time a lot, and it’s a game you should definitely play at least once in your life.

I can’t use any of my controllers to play

I’ve played this game since High School so about on and off about 8 Years, not a lot updates. The game is fun but not all the way put together. Editor used to be free It’s not fair how the captions stops you from interacting the but AI will still be able to steal from you or get up to fight you. When the captions show up on the screen; everything should either freeze or you should still be able to move. There should be a start/pause button to change the controls and see the manual of the controls There should be access to a map in the jail and for the city should when you escape jail / serve your sentence. It doesn’t make since to only have a map for jail after escaping. When setting your fighting moves there should be instructions and you should be able to create your own settings The game should allow multiplayer There should be multiple options to reply back a sentence You should be able to talk for yourself in court

This game was so much more fun before they updated it to the point where you can’t customize your character or change the gender without paying any real dollars

I use to play this game when i was younger and it was really fun but i don’t remember it being this weird and unfair. I don’t get why once the intelligence goes down we lose control over the character and the game itself makes decisions and starts fight with other inmates in the game and leaving you completely powerless that’s ridiculous we should have control over the character at all times no matter what , the court cases we should be able to type a response why am i getting extra days if a cop is the one who killed someone and then the inmates randomly hit you for no reason. overall it’s a fun gun but it gets really annoying wit these perks in it , the game becomes dumb and stupid when stuff like this is inside the game. it’s an opinion

This game is really fun as your in jail interacting with a lot of things. my favorite part is being set free and becoming a warden, but there’s some things that would be cool. 1. When you are set free and you have the option to become a warden, it would be cool if you can arrest people and show what their arrested for. 2. It would also be more interesting if you can go into the stores as your set free to spend some cash. 3. I would love there to be lawyers that you can hire to argue a case while your in court.

I only have one issue with the game: the “VIP” access. What I dislike is the fact that all of the stuff that you have to now purchase was free at one point? I mean, 3 bucks isn’t an awful lot, but the fact that you used those features as a money grab is pretty disappointing

This game is amazing I love the combat I love how realistic it is just please make more games like this.

And when I got out of jail I became a cop and went back to jail for shooting a prisoner for having a gun and went to jail for 30 days

Why do I suddenly just lose control of my character that doesn’t really make sense and when im knocked down I can’t even get up I just have to hope the character gets up by himself

Stole an SMG, Shot two cops got body slammed and died.

You guys need to stop making the cops kill me and I can’t play because every time it moves by it’s self and I keep dying from that.

Pros~ It's fun when you're bored, the graphics are nostalgic, sometimes it makes me laugh and get as hyped as i do on fortnite. cons~ even after serving a sentence, i'm still attacked by cops, the game forces you to let whoever you're fighting stand up by putting a chat box (from that character) and then they end up beating me up because they start hitting me while i'm clicking the box away, some cops will start fights with you and when they're losing they arrest you but sometimes you don't win the case same goes with other inmates and even if the cops sees them start the fight you'll get arrested, even after becoming a warden cops will fight you for no reason and you get arrested, YOU CANT ARREST PEOPLE. just some things :)

i wish i wrote a review about it 5 years ago this game is a childhood classic for me i love it. I remeber i used to play it all the time go fight people in the cafe maybe pick up a propane tank take it outside to the yard then blow it up honestly this game was one of the best if not the best for my memories also i like how you can actually get out of prison if your good wish the developers could come back give us a tiny update and say how they are doing we need them for new videos on consoles because the new ones are not too good so thank you for making this game and a good childhood memory I will now wait for it to reinstall so i can use the last of my senior moments happy.

Last time this game was touched was 3 years ago, need to update and OMG, even If I pay for the VIP access and serve the sentence I eventually become a warden but even then there is no freedom!! I still get arrested, and even called Prisoner!!! Like make that make sence!! FIX IT!!!!! Allow more freedom for Warden mode and even more because we puechase the VIP access!!!

I am in the game and I like the game and everything but I can’t find the menu button spot so I can pause it or go back to the menu wall in game it gets kinda annoying if there is a way I can do it that would be great
